As we are nearing the end of 2018, I use it as a time to reflect on what I’ve achieved so far throughout the year and what else I’d like to aim for before entering 2019. I love reading these types of posts to get an insight to what others hope to achieve and thought I would create a post for myself as a motivational tool.
The first goal I want to set out for myself is to decorate my room. I fell out of love with my room and don’t feel happy and inspired anymore. I’d like to decorate it and complete it before the year is out. In the last few days I have started to paint and bought a couple new bits. I’m really excited for the change.
Gain 300 More Followers On My Blog
Something I haven’t much control over but I’d like to aim for is to gain 300 more followers on my blog. It’s been a lot slower on the traffic front since I went self hosted and my following is growing slower than previous. However, I’m going to remain optimistic and hopefully, things will pick up again.
Finish Reading 3 Books
There’s several books I’ve started reading and would like to get them finished soon. I’m going on holiday tomorrow so should be able to get some reading done whilst I’m on the plane and lazing around the pool. My overall aim in my life is to use technology less and indulge in more books as I use to love reading but I’m so glued to my phone nowadays.
Reach My Savings Goal For 2018
The last couple of years have been a real eye opener for me and I no longer spend money so freely like I did before. I’m so conscious of having savings and a safety net and just want to keep it growing.
Streamline My Wardrobe
Similar to the capsule wardrobe but without being so strict on the number of pieces, I’d like to have a streamlined wardrobe full of pieces that fit me great and that I absolutely love. I no longer feel the need to wear stuff just because it’s on trend in that moment, I prefer timeless pieces that I can rock season to season. My mission is to cut down on all the clothes that I don’t wear and only own outfits I love.
Those were my goals for the rest of the year, what are yours? Let me know in the comments below. Thanks for reading XOXO.
