Latest In Beauty Box | April

It’s always a good day when my Latest In Beauty Box arrives. I hadn’t received any boxes for a few months as I’ve been trying to save money so this feels like a real treat. That’s the great thing about Latest In Beauty, you can unsubscribe any time. Here’s what goodies I chose this month.

As usual, the package arrived in a colourful cardboard box with the contents wrapped in tissue paper. I was also given a little box of Lindt chocolates which I presume is a treat for Easter. Such cute little touches like this is what keeps me hooked on this beauty box subscription.

New for the selection was a ColourPlex Ultra Violet Toning Shampoo & Conditioner. As someone who dyes her hair blonde, I have to use toning hair care about once a week to avoid my hair looked brassy. These ColourPlex treatments appealed to me and I wanted to try them out.

Without realising I picked this ColourPlex Shampoo which is for brunettes. It’s a blue toner which reduces the red tones in brown hair. I will give this to my mum. I also picked up a Balance Me Face Cream. This is a restore and replenish collagen boost that I have used previously and loved so decided to pick another. It’s a good size also for travelling with.

Speaking of skincare, I decided to get a Garnier Skin Active Moisture Bomb Tissue Mask. I’ve heard great things about these and I’m eager to use this. As well as a tissue mask, I picked aSkyn Iceland Hydro Cool Firming Gel for my forehead. The sides of my forehead can get quite dry, particularly above my eyebrows so they can always use an extra bit of hydration. They are good to put on when you don’t feel like committing to wearing a full face mask. When I saw this Plumping Lip Gel I knew I had to try it. If you didn’t already know, I get lip injections roughly every 9 months and since my last appointment was in July, my lips have lost quite a bit of volume. If you want to know more about getting lip fillers you can read about my experience.

You may recognise this Sally Hansen Miracle Gel from my previous Latest In Beauty Box unboxing. I adored the rose gold shade Sleigh All Day so chose it again as well as Shimmer Me Timbers. Each polish comes with a protective top coat which claims to be chip resistant. They can be used as little gifts a swell with the added to & from label on the boxes.

Included in this month’s Latest In Beauty Box was a pink slogan post card that I like to use in my blog photos or bookmarks. I was also given a discount code for Gousto which is LIB30 if anyone is interested. There was also a box of Lindt chocolates that I mentioned earlier in the post.

That’s it for my April’s Latest In Beauty Box. I hope you enjoyed seeing what products I chose. Thanks for reading XOXO.

I like Latest in Beauty too! I have both of those nail varneshes and can definitely recommend the sheet mask! I hope there will be some left when I go for mine next week because your skin feels great afterwards! I’m always interested to see what other people picked!

She sheet mask is amazing, I won’t use any other now. I used to get the basic Superdrug or Boots ones but the Garnier wins everytime!
