Make Up Favourites Of 2017

2017 was a great year for make up, my collection doubled in size and I discovered some amazing new favourites. These are products I tried and fell in love with. I honestly don’t even know how I managed without them before. My make up application is forever improving and I love learning new tricks of the trade.

The first of my 2017 favourites is this Zoeva Naturally Yours palette. I’d never brought anything from the brand before but decided to give it a go after hearing many YouTubers rave about the eyeshadows. As someone who rocks a nude smokey eye most days, this was the perfect palette for me. The shadows are very pigmented and blend beautifully. I think this Naturally Yours palette woulds suit most people and I look forward to making more Zoeva purchases in 2018.

I’ve spoken about these two L’Oreal foundations a lot and for good reason. The True Match is a lovely lightweight liquid foundation that blends like a dream and the Infallible Total Cover is thick and so high coverage. They are really affordable and have been my go to combination for most of the year since I first started using them.

When I received this Look Good Feel Better Sculpting Sponge in my Cosmopolitan Party Starter Kit from Latest In Beauty, I fell in love instantly. It blends my make up so well without soaking up lots of foundation. The angled edge is so useful in getting to the awkward areas of my face that a traditional round sponge would miss. I’m definitely going to buy more of this sponge in 2018.

When the cold weather hit I started reaching for my MAC Pro Longwear concealer a lot. It was already one of my favourite concealers but as it’s a fairly thick concealer that provides high coverage I especially adore it in winter. The concealer covers any blemishes and brightens my under eyes. Not only that but it blends seamlessly.

When I was testing liquid eyeliners I came across this NYX Liquid Vinyl Liner. There is no bad points about this eyeliner, it ticks every box. It’s a very smooth applicator that glides along the eyes. Unlike other eyeliners I’ve tried this is actually black and doesn’t apply patchy. It’s so long lasting and reasonably priced. If I could only use one eyeliner again, it would be this one.

That’s it for my 2017 favourite make up products. I hope you all had a wonderful New Year. What was favourite make up product of 2017? Let me know in the comments below. Thanks for reading XOXO.
