Makeup Products I Brought For The Packaging

We’ve all been there, lusting after a makeup product just because the packaging has lured us in. I’m no exception and I know it’s what’s on the inside that counts, but sometimes it’s nice to have pretty things, right? Here’s the makeup pieces I brought for the packaging.

Out of all the Urban Decay Naked Palettes, the Ultimate Basics  is my favourite one, at least packaging wise. It’s a stunning, detailed rose gold packaging with a matching brush and a decent sized mirror. To touch and look at, it feels really luxurious.

I’d be lying if I said I hadn’t brought this blush for it’s aesthetics. The photo doesn’t do it justice, this Milani Powder Blush is absolutely beautiful. I adore the 3D rose framed in the shiny gold case. I’m almost too scared to use it because I’ll ruin the pattern.

These Max Factor Elixir Lip Glosses have been in my collection for ages and I orginally brought them because I thought they looked pretty. I’d happily buy more shades just for appearances even though I don’t typically wear lip gloss.

You may recognise this if you saw my recent Makeup Haul post, it’s a mini Cover FX Highlighter. It’s an attractive rose gold compact with a golden shimmery powder. The price was good so I just had to get it.

When it was coming up to Christmas I picked up the Nails INC Unicorn Deluxe Gift Set when it was half price at Boots. The set included two Nails Inc Polishes which are so elegant and expensive looking. I feel happy and proud to display these on my dresser.

Before purchasing this L’Oreal Infallible Eyeshadow Paint I’d never tried a liquid eyeshadow and I was curious to try it out. Not only that but I really wanted this particular one as it had a rose gold lid. If you’re interested in how it performs I did a review post on it.

I don’t really need to explain why for this Tarte Goddess Glow Highlighter (I did a seperate review post) as it’s quite clearly beautiful. The detailing is amazing and I just had to get my hands on it. Being limited edition, it’s a real collection piece.

Those were the makeup pieces I brought for the packaging. What products did you buy because they were pretty? Let me know in the comments below. I hope you enjoyed this post. Thanks for reading XOXO.

HAHA! Glad I’m not the only one who is a total sucker for the packaging! These would have gotten me too!

I love when blush/bronzers have pretty designs but I’m also hesitant to wreck them when I use them! I just got the Too Faced Natural Face Palette and the design on the pans is so cute I can barely bring myself to use them lol!

I don’t have the naked palette but I’m totally lusting over it purely for the packaging 😀

I 100% both the UD Ultimate Basics for the packaging, but it turned out to be one of my favorite palettes! Loved this post!
