If I haven’t mentioned it enough times already, I’m off on holiday tomorrow and wanted to share what makeup I’m taking on my travels. I’ve opted for smaller products that don’t take up too much space but I know I love to use. The majority of it is on the affordable side as I don’t like taking expensive stuff away with me in case it goes missing or breaks.
For my base I chose to take The Ordinary Coverage Foundation (review here) as the bottle is small and isn’t frosted glass like my other foundations. It’s so affordable and I provides the coverage I need.
To minimise the redness on my face, I’m taking a Collection Lasting Perfection Colour Correcting Concealer which is perfect for evening out my skin tone under my foundation.
I’m also taking my MAC Pro Longwear Concealer to brighten my under eyes and conceal all my blemishes. I’ve chosen this one over a more affordable one as it’s one of my favourites and I know it’s going to last all day without needing touch ups.
In terms of eyebrow styling I’m taking a L’Oreal Super Brow Pencil to fill in any gaps and to define them more. It also has a handy little brush on the lid to groom my brows.
To hold my eyebrows in place I’m going to set them with my Eylure Brow Amplifier as my brows don’t fade or budge throughout the day with this.
For my eyeliner I’m taking along with my my favourite drugstore liquid liner, the NYX Vinyl Liquid Eyeliner. It’s so pigmented and long lasting.
My lashes will be coated with a small sized Lancome Hypnose Volume A Porter Mascara. This provides quick lengthy lashes without the clump.
Like my previous review post of this NYX Love Contours All Palette says, I specifically brought this to travel with. It has eyeshadows, highlighters, bronzers and eyebrow powders all in one handy unit. Aswell as a good sized mirror.
I can’t leave the house without a couple of lip products to hand. I’m bringing with me my MAC Matte Lipstick in the shade Honey Love which is the perfect nude.
I’m also taking my Rimmel Exaggerate Lip Liner in the shade Addiction which is so creamy to apply.
To prime everything I’m taking a recent edition to my collection which is the Too Faced Hangover Primer. It’s a mini version so won’t take up too much room.
For setting my makeup I’ve brought along my E.L.F. Setting Spray as it’s smaller than my other setting sprays, it’s lightweight and makes my face stay in place.
Finally I’m taking some tools for the job with me, I’m bringing some Real Techniques brushes, a couple of MAC Eyshadow brushes, a Real Techniques pencil sharpener, a Brushworks Beauty Sponge and a Real Techniques Mini Miracle Sponge.
That’s my holiday makeup kit. Whilst I’m away I’ve scheduled for some posts to go live but if I don’t reply, I’m on holiday and will respond as soon as I can. I hope you enjoyed this post. Thanks for reading XOXO.
