Today I wanted to share with you my new makeup pieces that have been added to my collection. These are probably my favourite blog posts to read as I love seeing what new makeup and beauty products people have brought. It also gives you a chance to see what upcoming review posts I’m currently working on and you can expect to see in the near future. Of course I’m not bragging, I thought you may enjoy having a nose at my new bits of makeup.
I’m going to jump straight in and show you the most exciting product first. I finally got my hands on this beauty, the Born To Run Eyeshadow Palette from Urban Decay. If you read my Beauty Wish List post, you may remember me gushing over this palette from the moment I saw it. From the pops of colour to the basic neutral shades this is a go to for everyday nude eye looks or for something bright and colourful if I’m feeling experimental. I’ll be doing a full review of this in a upcoming post.
I also got my hands on two different liners recently, the first being a Rimmel Exaggerate Lip Liner in 018 Addiction which I’ve mentioned quite a lot on my blog and has to be my favourite lip liner. It’s so creamy to apply and lasts a long time too. My lips look fuller when I wear this and I consistently repurchase this again and again. The other liner is a brow liner from Eyeko which a friend gave to me after they received it in a Birch Box. I’m really excited to try this out as I’ve never used a brow liner before.
Another product that was on my recent Beauty Wish List is the Fix + Pinklite as I love the original Fix + and wanted to try the new version with pink specks. The liquid inside the bottle looks pretty and iridescent. I’ve used this a few times since I purchased it and will be writing a full review on it soon.
Last but not least are two products I didn’t purchase with my own money, but was actually lucky enough to win them in a giveaway by a fellow blogger The Happy Minimalist Girl. They are two products from Physicians Formula, a butter bronzer and blush. Each comes with a mirror and a mini brush applicator which I only just realised when I opened them for the photos. I love the pattern on these it reminds me of the swirls in the sand when your on the beach. I’m excited to get to try two new products I wouldn’t have gotten the chance to use otherwise.
Those were my recent makeup purchases, I hope you enjoyed this little beauty haul. I’ll be doing a separate full review on some of the products so you can see how I got on with them and if I would recommend them. Thanks for reading XOXO.
