New York Sephora & Duty Free Haul

Following yesterday’s New York Post I am going to share with you all the makeup I brought whilst I was there. Of course being an avid makeup lover I couldn’t go to the states and not visit Sephora. Whilst staying in Midtown Manhattan, I came across a fair few Sephoras but chose to go into the one next to Madame Tussauds, just off Times Square. It was around 10pm I went in and I was fairly tired which affected my experience slightly but I was still excited to have a look around. This wasn’t the biggest Sephora and it was quite busy, although I still managed to get a good selection of products.

The first thing that went straight into my basket was the Sephora Favourites Sunkissed Glow box which you may recognise from my Sephora Wish List post. It’s filled with a selection of bronzers and highlighters from different brands including Tarte, MILK, Becca, Hourglass, Ciate, Benefit and Laura Mercier. I’m so excited to try all these new products and will do a review soon. This was $40 USD plus tax which I think is great value for money. It was the product I wanted more than anything else as I wouldn’t be able to get it in the UK.

Another product from my Sephora Wish List is the Glitter On The Go set from Stila. It includes three beautiful rose gold liquid eyeshadows that I’m so eager to try as I’ve heard so many great things about them. This was $24 USD plus tax.

This MAC brush set wasn’t from Sephora but I picked it up from The Cosmetics Company Store in the Woodbury Commons Outlet Village. I had remembered seeing this from the Christmas Collection and lusted after it so when I saw it I immediately was drawn to it. It’s such a beautiful brush set and the bristles are so soft. This cost me $20 USD plus tax.

Hearing so many people rave about Huda Beauty Eyeshadow Palettes, I so desperately wanted one for myself. I chose the Smokey Obsessions Mini Palette as I knew it would be the most used. The shades look so glorious and I can’t wait to play with it. I’m planning on reviewing this soon too. This cost me $27 USD plus tax.

I made a bit of a blunder with this Laura Mercier Translucent Setting Powder because I didn’t realise I had grabbed the dark version. Unfortunately I had only realised when I was taking these photos so I can’t return it. However, I will include it in a giveaway for my subscribers. I’m gutted as I really wanted to try it. This cost $19 USD plus tax.

This Lancome All About Eyes Set I picked up from Duty Free before I boarded the plane. I had seen it previously online when I was browsing the selection and made a beeline for it at the airport. It cost me £13 GBP and included a eyecream, a mascara, a eyeliner and a eye makeup remover. I’ve used all these products before and loved them so I had to get this Travel Exclusive Set as it is such a great value for money.

I have almost everything in full size from Sephora’s Sunkissed Glow kit. I believe you’ll enjoy every product from the kit. This set definitely has amazing value!
