Product Empties

My oh my, I got through a lot of products since my last Product Empties Post and managed to use up some of the bits that were on my 2018 Project Pan (winning)! I’ve also nearly finished some more make up and skincare too but had to get rid of all the empty tubes and bottles as there was so many. Whilst doing so it spurred me to have a little clear out of the rest of my room which I would highly recommend as it’s so theraputic and I feel so much better for having an organised space. Here’s the products I’ve finished and whether or not I would use them again.

As someone who wears makeup almost every single day, it’s no suprise I’ve gotten through quite a bit of makeup remover. First up is these Yes To Cotton Wipes, these are so soft and are a good first step in cleansing my face.
Next is the Simple Micellar Water which I’ve mentioned a few times on this blog since I discovered it, it’s effective at getting the makeup off my face and is kind to my skin.
The other Micellar Water is from Garnier which I also love as it gets rid of any trace of makeup.
Finally, was this Lancome Bi-Facil that I received in my Beauty Advent Calendar which is bloody fantastic. With one swipe my mascara is gone and it doesn’t feel harsh.

Somehow I’ve gone through two shampoos but no conditioners. These two I’ve mentioned multiple times, the Aussie Miracle Moist and the Lee Stafford Hair Growth. Both of these smell absolutely divine and nourish my hair beautifully. I have repurchased these and will continue to rotate them in my hair care.

For bath and shower products, I managed to finish a LYNX Shower gel which I’m sure most people have tried. I probably wouldn’t go out my way to buy this for myself as I normally get some for Christmas, but it was nice enough.
The Nivea In-Shower body moisturiser is a holy grail product for me. I am in love with the coconut scent and it leaves my skin soft and hydrated for ages.
Last up is thisDove Body Wash which did have a pleasant fragrance and left my skin soft, but I don’t think I would buy myself again. Mainly because Dove is a brand I normally receive gift sets in.

I’m quite shocked this is all the skincare I used up, I thought there was a lot more. I do, however, have some tubes that are nearly done. First of all is this body lotion which came in a gift set from Wilko. It was an ok body lotion, not the best and I wouldn’t buy again.
Next is this A.D. Night Therapy Oil which I’m glad I am finished as I found it too oily and I felt greasy with it on.
The Lancome Absolue Premium Day Cream was really thick and moisturising but it did take a long time to sink in. It felt good but I prefer other day creams.
Lastly is a Lancome Eye Cream that I enjoyed as it was hydrating to my under eyes.

Now for the bit we all love.. makeup. I managed to get through a fair selection of products. Not as much as I would like but I’m working on finishing certain pieces off for my Project Pan.
To start off, I finally used all of the NYX Setting Spray. If you read my Setting Sprays Review Post, you’ll know I didn’t like this and I’m pleased it’s gone.
I also managed to finish off a L’Oreal Telescopic Mascara that I would recommend if you like long lashes quickly. It doesn’t do much volumising as some of my other msacaras but it gives great length and I wouldn’t say no to buying it again.
The two Rimmel Nail Varnishes had come to the end of their life, one had dried up and the other was empty. I like bright colours on my nails for summer and orange/ coral shades look amazing with a tan.
I have so many liquid eyeliners to use and I’m slowly thinning out my stash by using up this Collection Fast Stroke. This was my go to for so many years and if you’re on a budget, it’s a decent eyeliner. However, I have other favourites now which you can read about on my Liquid Eyeliners Review Post.
As I love lining my lips, I can get through lip liners fairly quickly, particuarly ones like thisRimmel Exaggerate in Addiction as you don’t get as much product as you do from a typical pencil. This is great and I always make sure I have one in my bag.
To get rid of some minis from my makeup draw, I was determined to use up some of the small primers I had. The MAC Prep & Prime was nice and is one of my faves. I would recommend this and would buy again in the future.
I also used up a mini YSL Primer. This was nice enough but I did prefer the MAC primer.

Can’t you tell I’m fed up of minis? I went through a mini Ralph Lauren Romance. This was pleasant, not very memorable as I can’t remember the scent. It wasn’t the most long lasting perfume though. To downsize my perfume collection I finished off 3 roller ball perfumes from Fergie. These smelled nice but were short lasting and I wouldn’t buy again.

Those were all the products I managed to get through, some were from my 2018 Project Pan which I’m very happy about. I plan on checking back in mid April to see if I completed all the products I wanted. It feels good to get rid of all these empty containers. Have a lovely weekend. Thanks for reading XOXO.

Oh I’ve tried the Simple Micellar water and it gave me a horrible reaction. Too strange, because I’ve been using their cleansing foam and never had any problems!

there’s quite a lot of products there 😀 I’ve heard many things about Aussie products, but I haven’t tried any yet. I’ve heard they’re not quite good for my hair type, but the rest of the world loves them so I can’t decide haha

The different shampoos can vary, I much prefer this Miracle Moist to some of the other Aussie ones I’ve tried:) x
