I hope you’re all having a great weekend! Today I’m going to talk you through the products I’ve used up recently and give a mini evaluation of each one. This will give you a better idea of what products perform good and those that may not work so well.
I’m going to start off with hair products as there is quite a few. I’ve been trying lots of different brands and products for my hair recently as I like to mix it up.
First off is the Batiste Nice Dry Shampoo which was great to use to refresh my hair and giving it a boost of volume between washes.
Next is a small Boots Extra Firm Hold Hairspray which I’ve had for ages and just wanted to use it up. It’s an ok hairspray but isn’t the best I’ve tried.
Also I finished a mini tube of Tresemme Keratin Smooth Shampoo which was a handy size for travelling. It was a good hydrating shampoo that gave my strands added moisture and left my hair silky smooth.
Another mini product I used up is a Charles Worthington Leave In Conditioner that I applied on the ends of my hair before I blow dried. It was a lovely product that gave my hair an extra bit of moisture.
I managed to use up a large tub of the Garnier Ultimate Blends Shampoo in Oat Milk which was divine. It’s really nourishing and I felt like my hair got a thorough clean. I’ve already repurchased this.
For the final hair product I finished a L’Oreal Elvive Extra Ordinary Oil Coconut Conditioner which was quite thick but nice to use.
I have a few empty cleansers from October. The first finished one is the Formula 10.0.6 Best Face Forward Cleanser which had lasted me for ages. You need just a small amount to gently clean your face.
Secondly, I used up a L’Oreal Smooth Sugars Clear Kiwi Face Scrub which you can read a detailed review of here.
Lastly is a Garnier Rose Water Toner that I used to get rid of any excess dirt after my cleansing routine. I’ve repurchased this.
In October I used up quite a few moisturisers, particularly eye creams as I had a little bit left in each one so I wanted to finish them off to declutter my draw. The first one is a Baie Botanique Eye Cream that was a bit thicker than a typical eye cream but I left on overnight to hydrate my under eye area.
Next is a mini Lancome Advanced Genifique Eye Cream that I brought in a exclusive travel set. This cream is really hydrating and gave my eye area some much needed moisture. I’ve brought this a few times as I notice a difference after use.
Onto the last eye cream empty is a one from The Organic Pharmacy. It’s a rich cream that took a while to sink in so was better for night time. I would repurchase this though.
The final moisturiser was a Nivea Essentials Night Cream that is a great affordable option for nightly hydration. My face was glowing the morning after I applied this.
Now for my makeup empties, I managed to finish up 5 different products. The first one being a Collection Setting Spray that I reviewed in a Setting Sprays On Trial post.
Next I used up the Lancome Monsieur Big Mascara which is a great for fluttery long lashes.
In terms of concealers, I used up one which was the Make Up Revolution Conceal & Define Concealer which offers high coverage and you can read my review on it here.
I also finished up a Eylure Brow Amplifier in Blonde that is slightly lighter than my natural brows but that prevented them from looking dark and thick. This coated the hairs and made sure they stuck in place all day.
Lastly I finished a Rimmel Exaggerate Lipliner in the shade Addiction. If you read my blog regularly you’ll know this is my favourite lip liner as I talk about it often. It’s the perfect nude shade that’s long lasting and gives me a fuller looking pout.
For the final set of empties from the previous month is 2 mini Mitchum Deodrants that kept my underarms fresh and dry throughout the day.
To conclude this post, I finished off a Soap & Glory Smoothie Star Body Lotion which I’m gutted about as it smells amazing! I’ll definitely buy this lotion again as it was hydrating and left me smelling like a bakery.
Those were the products I used up recently and what I thought of them. I hope you enjoyed this post. Thanks for reading XOXO.
