It’s only 2 weeks until I’m jetting off to New York and I wanted to put together a wish list of items I would like to pick up from Sephora whilst I’m there. I don’t want to get there and just pick up everything, I’d like some sort of plan so I don’t go too crazy and make thoughtful purchases. There are some brands that are harder to get in the UK so I’d like to focus on them and products that are much cheaper too.
This Too Faced Just Peachy Mattes palette was the first product I added to my Loves on Sephora. If I don’t buy anything else on my list, I have to get this eyeshadow palette. The pink shades are like nothing I have in my collection already. I also had the Anastasia Beverley Hills Soft Glam palette and the Tarte Tartelette In Bloom palette on my wish list but as the 3 palettes are all really similar I decided I only needed one and the Too Faced was the winner for me. It costs $45.00.
Tarte is a brand that is awkward to get in the UK. You can buy some pieces from QVC but they don’t have much choice and rarely have any new releases or purchase from the Tarte website and run the risk of a hefty customs bill. With this in mind I really wanted to make the most of being in the US and pick up some Tarte goodies. Unfortunately, nothing stood out to me that I felt I needed in my collection. There was a lot of mermaid style makeup which I’m so over with. However, this Toast To The Good Life brush set caught my eye. It’s $39.00 but has a massive $113.00 value.
Everybody raves about how good the Laura Mercier Translucent Powder is and I want to try it for myself. This mini version is $23.00 and would be a good chance for me to see what all the hype is about without forking out for the full size. If I like it I can purchase the bigger size back in the UK.
I already have a mini version of Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick and I love it so would really love to have some more shades in my collection. As Kat Von D is fairly accessible in the UK this is not high on my priorities but it’s just something that would be nice to have as it’s slightly cheaper in America. This costs $20.00.
As soon as I laid my eyes on this Smokey Obsessions palette from Huda Beauty I knew I had to have it. Every single shade is something that is easily wearable for everyday and I can see myself using this a lot. I’ve seen swatches of this and I feel I need this in my life. From Sephora this costs $27.00 which is a fair bit cheaper than England. It’s different from the Too Faced palette I want also so I don’t feel so bad about getting two eyeshadow palettes (trying to justify it to myself).
Another cult favourite is the Anastasia Beverley Hills Dipbrow Pomade that I’d like to try to see what all the fuss is about. I really want to improve my eyebrows and I’ve only ever tried pencils and gels. This is $18.00 and it’s not a product I’m going to prioritise going into Sephora as I’d have to see how much the budget stretches.
I feel like I need to have a Sephora beauty box as I won’t be able to purchase one anywhere else. This Sunkissed Glow set includes 7 different bronzers and highlighters from some amazing brands. It has a $99.00 value but costs just $40.00. I’ve always wanted to try the Benefit Hoola Bronzer and the other brands will be new welcomed additions to my collection. There’s even 1 full size highlighter. Out of all the products on this wish list this one will take the highest priority simply because of it’s exclusivity.
Even people who don’t like glitter would appreciate how beautiful these liquid eyeshadows from Stila are. The Glitter On The Go Set retails for $25.00 and comes up to a $36.00 value. I’d really like to try these and this set would be a more purse friendly way to do so. It wouldn’t be very often I’d wear such intense glitters on my eyes so the mini versions are better for me anyway.
Not particularly exciting but this Beauty Blender Cleanser makes this list as it’s a fair bit cheaper from Sephora than the UK. I need something a bit more heavy duty to clean my Beauty Blenders with and I want to trial the cleanser. If I don’t get it from New York I will pick it up from the UK at some point. It costs $18.00 for 150ml.
Last but definitely not least is the Love Your Skin Protect Your Skin set from Lancome. If you’ve read my Brand Focus| Lancome post you’ll know I’m a massive fan of their skincare range. This set includes a day cream, a night cream, makeup remover, a toner and a youth activating concentrate. It costs $38.00 and has a value of $64.00.
That’s it for my Sephora Wish List, can you believe this was the cut down version? As the total comes just under $300.00 it’s very unlikely I will get a lot of these products but a girl can dream! If you would like to see what I did pick up, keep an eye out for my New York Haul in 3 weeks time. I hope you enjoyed this post. What products are on your wish list? Have you tried any of these? Let me know in the comments below. Thanks for reading XOXO.
