Travel Bucket List

There’s so many beautiful locations in the world that I’m itching to see. I’m fortunate enough to have seen a fair few locations but there’s still other destinations I have yet to tick off my bucket list. Hopefully, I can see the majority of these places before I’m 30 (just over 5 years). I love reading these posts and thought I would make one of my own, so here is my Travel Bucket List.

 Bora Bora

I’d have to inherit a lot of money in order to afford a vacation to Bora Bora, but I can dream, right? This is my dream honeymoon destination. It’s so peaceful and romantic, absolute paradise. The scenery is postcard perfect, I can’t believe how blue the water is.

Just as stunning, and slightly more attainable, is the beautiful Maldives. Before I’d heard of Bora Bora, this was my ultimate honeymoon trip. I’d love to go to either and walk along the untouched white sands. It would be a dream come true to stay in an over the water bungalow and look out to the Indian Ocean.

For the complete polar opposite, I have always wanted to go Lapland and visit the Santa Claus Village in Finland. If I could I would love to take my daughter there whilst she’s young and still believes in him. It would be such a magical place to experience.

Recently, Iceland has been on my radar and I’m desperate to see all the spectacular scenary. There’s so many activities and sights I’d like to do whilst there, it’s unlike any place I’ve ever been. I can see a short break to Reyjavik in my near future (hopefully).

I’ve always found the landscape and architect in Scotland fascinating and as I’ve gotten older I really crave visiting new cities over the touristy beach holidays. I’d love to go to Scotland and visit both the city of Edinburgh and the rural countryside.

Would this be a bucket list without mentioning Paris? As well as beautiful buildings, this city plays hosts to Disneyland. How I have not booked this trip before I don’t know. I would take so many photos whilst there.

Los Angeles

Ever since I was a little girl, going to Los Angeles was a dream. All the celebrities I looked up to lived there and it seemed like everyone was always happy. I would visit all the touristy attractions whilst I’m there, including the infamous Hollywood sign.

New York

Watching many films and tv shows featuring New York has meant this city has been on my bucket list for as long as I can remember. I’m so in awe at all the buildings and lights. I’ve actually booked to go in May but keeping it on the bucket list until I can officially say I’ve been.

Those are my ultimate destinations of choice. I would love to see the whole world and all the different cultures but had to narrow it down to my favourites. I want to experience various climates such as the ice cold temperatures in Finland and then the tropics of the Maldives. I hope you found this somewhat interesting and it helped you with ideas for your next holiday destination. Thanks for reading XOXO.
