YouTube Made Me Buy It: Skincare Edition

Whilst I was browsing through all my published blog post deciding on what to write next, I came across my previous YouTube Made Me Buy It: Makeup Edition post and realised I never wrote up a follow up regarding the skincare I’d been influenced to purchase. So here is the skincare products YouTube made me buy.

One of the first ever products I was persuaded to buy was the Nivea Mean Post Shave Balm. At one point nearly every single YouTuber was raving about this being a fab primer. I can’t say I’ve tried it for that reason but I have used it on my body after shaving and it really helps to soothe the skin and prevent lots of red bumps. The balm even featured in one of my first ever blog posts which was my Top 5 Products Under £5.

A more recent product that has been making head waves is the Garnier Moisture Bomb Tissue Mask. It claims to be super hydrating, reduces the appearance of fine lines and revitalises the radiance of your skin. I’ve seen so many influencers and bloggers rave about this mask and I wanted to see for myself how good it is. I have yet to try it but will be doing my own review post on it once I do.

I’d never even heard of or noticed the brand Mitchum before watching YouTube. Chloe Boucher said it’s the only deodrant she would use which got me interested in the product. I have this in a mini size which I’m going to take with me on holiday.

If you saw my recent post on What’s Inside The L’Oreal Beauty Egg you would’ve seen I had picked up a L’Oreal Smooth Sugars Clear Scrub. Plenty of bloggers and YouTubers recommend this product for getting rid of blackheads. Once I’ve finished my current face scrub I’m going to give this a try and give my take on the product.

Of course I had to include a Zoella product in this post because without YouTube I wouldn’t know who Zoe Sugg is. When I was looking for a new in shower moisturiser this Shower Shake caught my eye. I really like this as it smells lovely and leaves my skin really soft. Not to mention the bottle is so pretty also.

Soap & Glory products are a favourite amongst the beauty community, particularly the Scrub Of Your Life. After hearing so many positive reviews I wanted to see for myself how good it is so I asked for some S & G gift sets for Christmas.

I can’t remember which YouTuber spoke about this Scalp and Hair Protector by Malibu but I was definitely influenced to get it. Whenever I’m on holiday my scalp always gets burned but this provides protection without making my hair greasy which is usually the case with a ordinary suncream.

Those were the skincare products that YouTube made me buy. If you want to see what makeup products I was influenced to buy, click here. I hope you enjoyed it. Let me know in the comments what products you were persuaded to buy. Thanks for reading XOXO.
