YouTube Made Me Buy It

We’ve all been influenced one way or another by the beauty guru’s of YouTube. This is a selection of make up that YouTube has made me buy.

I think most YouTubers have spoken about this MAC Prep & Prime Fix Plus spray. It’s a lightweight mist that sets your face and keeps your make up looking fresh all day long. I like how there is no scent and I would repurchase this.

This foundation combo was recommended by Holly Boon. It’s the L’Oreal True Match and the L’Oreal Infallible Total Cover. I have used them ever since. The Infallible is thick and covers everything and together with the liquid smooth True Match they make the perfect pair. Whenever I need slightly more coverage I just add a touch more of the Infallible to cover the imperfections.

Everyone and their mum has heard about the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer. All the YouTubers and bloggers hype about this concealer so much. I do see why, the concealer is great coverage and brightens up your eyes well. However, for the price you don’t get much product, my tube was pretty much empty two weeks after I purchased. There are other good concealers out there that don’t cost so much so I won’t repurchase this.

This is the budget concealer I heard about from YouTube. It’s the Collection Lasting Perfection which unbelievably only costs £4! I will keep repurchasing this as an everyday concealer. It covers, conceals and brightens.

I had heard a couple of YouTubers speak of the NYX Lid Lingerie Eyeshadow and thought I would try it. The pigmentation is good but I wasn’t too keen on the shade I chose so I haven’t worn it too much. Think I would go for a darker brown next time.

The brand Zoeva wasn’t even on my radar until I started watching YouTube. I had never heard of it but I’m so glad I discovered it. The eyeshadows are so pigmented and blend beautifully. I’m gutted I got the packaging dirty though. This palette is the Naturally Yours one and I would definitely recommend.

Another brand I didn’t know even existed was Morphe. After seeing dozens of swatches of these eyeshadow palettes I knew I had to get one for myself. You get 35 shades for £23. The colours are so pigmented, blend easily and you get a large choice of colours. I will stock up on more of these in the future.

That’s it for my YouTube Made Me Buy it: Make Up Edition, what products have you brought because of YouTube? Let me know in the comments and look out for my upcoming post of the skincare purchases that was influenced by YouTube. Thanks for reading XOXO.

I haven’t tried their eyeshadows, but Zoeva’s brushes are amazing! The colors in that palette are really nice.

I’m going to have to try the brushes one day! If they’re anything like the eyeshadows they’ll be good quality 🙂 x

I just bought my first Morphe eyeshadow palette recently and I can’t wait to test it out.
